    This is a great collection of Coasters hits, all awseome songs on ATCO label, classic stuff indeed!: the back of the LP has a nice essay by Ira Howard (The Cash Box) 10 of the 12 tunes were penned by the classic Leiber and Stoller songwriting team. track lsiting: side A: Poison Ivy Along Came Jones (later covered by Ray Stevens) Down In Mexico/5(13).

    Despite what the other reviewer of this CD says, the songs on Poison Ivy don't appear to be the original recordings. I just finished listening to the CD, and I'm quite disappointed (I ordered another greatest hits compilation from the Coasters earlier today, and I really hope that the third time is the charm)/5(7).
